Wandercraft Selected for the Inaugural Physical AI Fellowship Powered by AWS, NVIDIA, and MassRobotics

New York, NY (September 23, 2025) — Wandercraft has been selected for the inaugural cohort of the Physical AI Fellowship, an exclusive, a first-of-its-kind program from Amazon Web Services (AWS), NVIDIA, and MassRobotics. The Fellowship accelerates organizations building intelligent systems that operate in the physical world, providing compute and hardware resources in addition to access to a global robotics network.
The opportunity will support Wandercraft’s pioneering work in self-balancing robotic mobility systems, including Eve, the world’s first hands-free exoskeleton for home use, and Calvin-40, a next-generation humanoid platform designed to support industrial workers in physically demanding environments.
With access to AWS cloud credits and experts, NVIDIA’s hardware and software stack, and MassRobotics’ testbed and ecosystem, Wandercraft will deepen its integration of generative AI technologies to enhance robot decision-making, task execution, and user interaction—focusing on improving operational efficiency and deployment-readiness in real-world environments.
“Our goal has always been to build robotics that solve real problems in the real world,” said Matthieu Masselin, CEO and co-founder of Wandercraft. “Being selected for the Physical AI Fellowship is a meaningful recognition of that mission, and we’re excited to collaborate with AWS, NVIDIA, and MassRobotics to further develop intelligent systems that move with purpose—on factory floors, in clinics, and eventually, in homes.”
At Wandercraft, we believe robotics should serve people—not just automate tasks. That means building systems that are safe, reliable, and truly useful in the environments where they’re needed most. Whether we’re restoring upright mobility to someone after a spinal cord injury or helping a factory worker avoid strain and injury, our mission is clear: to expand what’s possible through intelligent movement.
Each Fellow will receive $200,000 in AWS credits and access to NVIDIA platforms like Isaac and Cosmos (plus Deep Learning Institute credits and hardware/software discounts), and ecosystem support from MassRobotics. The Fellowship culminates in high-visibility showcases at AWS, NVIDIA, and MassRobotics events, including re:Invent 2025.

About Wandercraft
Wandercraft is a global robotics company on a mission to restore mobility and expand what’s possible through self-balancing, AI-powered systems. Known for its groundbreaking personal exoskeleton, Eve, Wandercraft is developing the next generation of mobility solutions to restore walking ability both at home and in clinical rehabilitation. Its flagship device, Atalante X, is used at more than 100 inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation centers across four continents.
In 2025, Wandercraft expanded into industrial robotics with the launch of Calvin-40, a strong, voice-controlled humanoid robot developed in collaboration with Renault Group. Built on the same life-tested robotics platform as Wandercraft’s medical exoskeletons, Calvin is engineered to perform physically demanding or hazardous tasks in real-world environments.
With more than 30 patents and a deeply human mission, Wandercraft believes that everyone should have the chance to move freely—and that robotics should connect with people where they are, with reliability, responsiveness, and purpose.
